Going back to the country side.

In Portugal, as well in many countries, the population continues to migrate to the cities searching for a better life and professional opportunities. According to UNO, Portugal has at this moment approximately 42% of the population living in the two main metropolitan areas. By 2015, this number will increase to 72%.
Well, this means an increasing life cost, as well as bigger health and quality life issues.

Fortunately, there are some organizations that are looking at this problem and are seeing business opportunities in the country side. One of them is an organization called “Novos Povoadores” , that is fighting to reduce this asymmetry, by helping promoting a new life style as well as new business opportunities in these low populated, low life-cost, low-stressed and unpolluted areas.
